Getting to Know Us
Renaissance Elementary Charter School is celebrating its fourteenth year this 2012-2013 school year! The school first opened in August 1999 and currently has over 800 students in grades K-5th that wear the school colors of red, white and blue with pride! In 2005 we opened our middle school. Renaissance Middle Charter School currently has over 400 students in grades 6th - 8th. We are honored in achieving an "A" for the 2011-2012 school year in the Elementary School and another "A" in the Middle School! Our school family includes students, teachers and staff members from diverse cultures. You will be kindly greeted and will love the feel of your surroundings.

James G. Stavridis, Admiral, U.S. Navy Commander, presented Mrs. Cordal with the certificate "For outstanding achievements and exceptional dedication in providing the highest level of academic excellence to the United States Southern Command's Service Members and their families."
RECS is a Blue Ribbon School
Renaissance Elementary Charter School was named a "2008 No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School". This honor was bestowed upon us by the United States Department of Education.
